I recently read about the documentary on the Girl Scout cookie empire and it got me thinking about our own local snacks like chin-chin, puff-puff, or meat pies. In Nigeria, many of these are sold individually in markets or by roadside vendors, but we rarely see them branded into organized, large-scale national organizations. Do you think our food culture has the potential to become a structured business model that could empower Nigerian youth or women, or is the current informal market system the best way for us to operate?
