Does Nigerian media truly get better with age, or do we prefer the 'old school' classics?
Context
With Netflix’s 'The Four Seasons' proving that some stories improve as they evolve, it got me thinking about our local industry. While we celebrate the high production quality of modern Nollywood, many of us still find ourselves rewatching old classics from the 90s and early 2000s. Do you think our storytelling has actually matured and improved, or have we simply traded the raw soul of original Nollywood for better cameras and bigger budgets?
