Do you think horror-comedy parodies like 'Scary Movie' still have a place in today's cinema?
Context
With the news that the 'Scary Movie' franchise is making a comeback, it got me wondering if we actually need these types of spoof films anymore. Modern horror movies are already often campy or self-aware, and social media creates its own 'meme-worthy' parodies instantly. Do you think a new installment can genuinely be funny, or has the golden era of the slapstick parody movie passed us by?
