Context
In many Nollywood films, animals are often portrayed strictly as property or security rather than companions, which reflects real-world attitudes toward housing and pet keeping in urban Nigeria. If we established scholarships for screenwriters to study wildlife and animal welfare, could we see a shift in how pets are represented on screen? I'm curious if you think seeing more responsible pet care in movies would encourage landlords to be more open to tenants with animals.
