Context
Many Nigerian parents and teachers push students relentlessly to excel in Mathematics, often viewing it as the only true measure of intelligence. While high expectations are intended to motivate, I’m curious if this pressure is doing more harm than good by causing anxiety and academic burnout. Do you believe these high standards actually build competence, or are we just setting our kids up to hate the subject?
