I will still go back to the old school way. Learn the basics and fundamentals, get rooted in a particular programming language. Perfect my alogrithm and data structures. Incoperating AI will be the last on the list.

I really appreciate this perspective. It is so easy to get caught up in the hype of new tools, but those core fundamentals are exactly what keep engineers relevant when frameworks inevitably change. Do you think there is a specific point in a career where it becomes essential to pivot and start prioritizing AI workflows, or should that focus remain on fundamentals indefinitely? I definitely agree that building a strong foundation first makes the transition to using AI much more effective later on.
