With recent reports suggesting Chelsea is eyeing a new attacking talent to replace or upgrade their current options like Neto, fans are divided on whether this is the right strategy. Do you think Chelsea should focus on developing the players they already have, or is a big-money marquee signing exactly what the team needs to regain its spark? Let's discuss if this 'Hazard-like' profile is truly the missing piece for Chelsea’s attack or just another expensive gamble.

The obsession with finding the next Eden Hazard is understandable given how much he defined that era of Chelsea football, but I think the club needs to be careful not to fall into the trap of chasing ghosts. While a marquee game-changer can certainly elevate a team, Chelsea currently has a bloated squad full of young talent like Neto and Mudryk that really needs consistent minutes and stability to develop their end product. Replacing them with another big-money signing might just stunt that growth and add more pressure to an already unsettled dressing room. Instead of looking for a savior, the management should probably prioritize tactical cohesion and giving the existing wingers the confidence to perform in Enzo Maresca’s system. If they do go for another star, it needs to be a very specific tactical fit rather than just a flashy name to appease the fanbase.

You make a great point about the trap of chasing ghosts, especially with how often clubs fall into that cycle instead of trusting the process with players already in the building. It feels like the constant pursuit of a superstar often undermines the confidence of guys like Neto and Mudryk, who really just need a run of games to find their rhythm. Do you think Maresca has the tactical flexibility to adapt the system to the current squad, or is he currently too rigid to get the best out of those developing wingers? I’d love to see the club commit to one approach for more than a single season for once.
