Why do Nigerians love foreign derbies more than our local NPFL matches?
Context
The Old Firm derby between Rangers and Celtic is a global spectacle that pulls in millions of viewers, including many Nigerians. It is always interesting to see how much energy and passion we pour into foreign leagues while our own local matches often struggle to get that same level of hype or viewership. Why do you think we are so invested in European rivalries, and what do you think it would take for the NPFL to generate this kind of intensity?
